Laura Linney is an American actress who has become well-known for her portrayal of vulnerable, but strong characters. Linney is a member of a theatrical family her father was a playwright, Romulus Linney. Linney graduated at Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) in New York City in 1990.
